Introduction

The course is about how technology and digitalization affect the relationship between companies and customers. The course will focus on the consequences that digitalization have communication, retail and customer experiences. An important goal in the course is for students to understand how technology solves new customer needs and creates new business opportunities.

There are 4 main themes in the course:

  • Innovation in services
  • Digital customer journeys and customer experiences
  • Business models

  • Understand how service innovation differs from product innovation, and see the importance of service innovation for the customers’ value creation
