Introduction
This is an introductory course in Fench for students who want to acquire basic knowledge in French. It is not based on any previous skills in the language. The content of the course is standard French with some elements of economic language.

Objective
The participants shall at the end of the course reach a level enabling them to participate in the course "Intercultural Communication in French" at the NSM

Course structure
48 hours of teaching in the autumn (SPÅ 0061) and 52 in springtime (SPÅ 0062). In order to manage the requirements of the course it is essential that students attend the weekly sessions and participate actively in discussions. This requires active homework.
The first part of the course will an intensive introduction to the the main structures of the French language. The second part will reinforce oral activity, partly based on economic texts.



Examination
Students may have a course certificate based on formative evaluation during the year. The certificate gives access to the regular French courses at the NSM (BI)
