Introduction

This course aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of management in the creative industries, both nationally and internationally. The course will offer a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to effectively lead and operate businesses in the creative industry. Furthermore, the course will integrate relevant knowledge from fields such as the entertainment industry, live events, creative tourism and place development, organizational behavior and management, sustainable project management, and cultural economics.

  • Understand the relationship between the key operational functions within a creative industry business.
  • Have an overview of formal management and governance systems in various businesses.
  • Understand how informal rules, industry, and company culture shape the everyday work life.
