The course provides an overview of strategic management. The course focuses on the fundamental frameworks and tools for strategy and how to apply them in various business contexts.
After completion of this course, students should have knowledge of:
- The core concepts, tools and frameworks in strategy
- Strategy formulation process
- Theories that inform the field of strategy
After this course, students should be able to:
- Apply strategy frameworks to conduct external analysis and internal analysis of a business
- Evaluate firm performance and assess strategies
- Formulate strategic recommendations to business
After the course students should be able to:
- Understand how to assess business environment and internal capabilities
- Understand how to form strategies for businesses and personal career development
