BIK 2996 English for Business 2 Responsible for the course Charles Cooper Department Department of Communication - Culture and Languages Term According to study plan ECTS Credits 7,5 Language of instruction Norwegian and english Introduction Learning outcome The course is designed as a follow-up to English for Business 1, with emphasis on active application of the skills and routines developed in that course. Participants will work further on their ability to write and proof-read their work, expand their business vocabulary, present and argue for their ideas and increase their skills in communicating in English with Norway's major trade partners. In addition, English for Business - 2 will address itself more specifically to the skills of cross-cultural communication and negotiations. Computer-based tools itslearning Learning process and workload Participants meet one evening a week for four hours over twelve weeks (48 hours) Examination The course is concluded by an oral examination.
