Introduction

I moderne arbeidsliv legges det stor vekt på systematisk innsats på området Helse, Miljø og Sikkerhet (HMS). I henhold til Forskrift om systematisk helse, miljø og sikkerhetsarbeid i virksomheter (Internkontrollforskriften), er alle virksomheter pålagt å bestrebe seg systematisk med det interne arbeid innen helsevern, arbeidsmiljø og sikkerhet. Dette kurset fokuserer på disse tema/forhold. I undervisningen brukes ferske praktiske case og anerkjent forskning for å utdanne reflekterte programstyring innenfor HMS-feltet.

Learning outcomes - Knowledge

Studentene skal tilegne seg grunnleggende kunnskap om sentrale temaer og problemstillinger innenfor HMS-området, dvs. knyttet til helse, miljø og sikkerhet, herunder strategiske perspektiver, ledelse, sikkerhet og sikkerhetskultur, helse og psykososialt arbeidsmiljø; praktisk HMS-arbeid, risikovurderinger og kriseledelse.

Learning outcomes - Skills

Studentene skal kunne redegjøre for sentrale begreper, prosesser og teorier og hvordan disse relateres til effektivitet i HMS arbeid. Kunne tilrettelegge for god oppstart og gjennomføring av HMS-arbeid ved å etablere et godt fundament for virksomheten.

Studentene skal utvikle forståelse for at psykologiske og ledelses egenskaper og prosesser og organisasjonsmessige betingelser har stor betydning for optimal fungering i arbeidslivet.

Teaching and learning activities
